Kurt Schroeder

Pilates Teacher, Long BEach

I love sports and am a huge U of A and USC fan. (Since I graduated from both:) I’ve played soccer, football and rugby and I have the battle scars to prove it! I first discovered Bikram Yoga in Seattle back in 2014 with the hope of decreasing some chronic back and knee pain I had developed from years of playing sports. Along with my yoga practice, I took an interest in Inferno hot pilates and was immediately hooked. Within a few months, my chronic knee and back pain had healed so I knew I had to get certified to teach so I could share this great news and path with others.

If you take one thing from my classes, I hope you know and feel that it’s possible to improve your physical and emotional health no matter what age you start. It isn't a matter of how big and strong your are, or how in shape you are. It is simply a matter of showing up and moving. One of my greatest joys is watching the change happen to my students right before my eyes. I have had students come in who couldn't do one push up and a month later I am watching them do multiple push ups in a 20 second interval! I am 100% convinced that anyone who diligently takes IHP/OG Hot yoga classes can achieve whatever recovery, healing and growth that they want to create. And I can’t wait to be apart of this for you!
