Cleaning and Sanitizing

What we’re rub a dub, doing!

  • We are a certified Plasma air facility which means the air you breath in here is clean. Plasma air is proven to reduce the Coronavirus surrogate by 99% in Independent Testing
  • Requiring teachers to wash their hands before/after classes and self-check before coming to the studio
  • Using EPA- approved cleaner and disinfectant in the lobby, bathrooms and practice spaces throughout the day
  • Reducing class sizes & increasing distance between students
  • Disinfecting common areas in between classes
  • Having hand sanitizer stations available for use
  • Mopping and sanitizing the practice space floor after every class
  • Not using studio-owned mats or props
  • Staying up-to-date on all federal, state and local guidelines and recommendations

What you can do:

  • Pre-register and pay for class ahead of time.
  • Practice mindfulness and respect your fellow yogis. If you need to cancel please do see at least 3 hours in advance. Late cancellations are subject to a no-show fee.
  • If you have a cough, fever, the sniffles, have traveled abroad, or are sick, please stay home! This helps make everyone feel safe and stay healthy!
  • Wash your hands frequently, for 20-30 seconds at a time
  • Come to class clean and wipe up your practice area after class
  • Cover your mouth with your elbow if you cough or sneeze and dispose of your own tissue.
  • Keep practicing! Yoga is a great way to stay healthy mentally and physically. Studies also have shown a regular yoga practice can boost your immune system.
  • Once you pick up your belongings (yoga mat, props, etc.) from inside the practice space after class, please do not set them down again on benches or other communal areas.
  • Shop local! Our retail boutique is open!

West Coast Sweat Reopening Updates:

What’s the difference between LIVEstream, Virtual, and West Coast Sweatonline?

LIVEstream classes are offered via Zoom and streamed during a live class at the studio. The camera will focus on the instructor and if you are taking the class from home you will feel like you are in class with the rest of your fellow yogis. Virtual classes are streamed with just the teacher and not during an actual live class. West Coast Sweatonline is our library of recorded classes and tutorials available with all memberships.

What about Member Guest Passes?

For Phase 1 and Phase 2, all Member Guest Passes will not be available due to limited space.

What about if I was in an intro program or Groupon when the studio temporarily closed?

You have two options. #1, you can come back right now for $40 first month and then auto renews at $109. Or, during Phase 3 you will be invited back to complete your intro with two weeks of unlimited classes.

Have any changes been made to the studio?

Yes! We removed the carpet so that we can safely clean the floor in between classes. We also installed hand-sanitizing stations throughout the studio and removed the group changing rooms and built individual ones. They will re-open in Phase 2..

How can I keep supporting West Coast Sweat and my fellow yogis?

Keep practicing and taking care of the most important person in your life—you—and helping us work towards our vision:

At West Coast Sweat, we see a world where people love and respect themselves and others.
